PVSA
Established in 2003 by President George W. Bush, the President's Volunteer Service Award is a prestigious national recognition for exceptional volunteers. Sankara Healthcare Foundation is a proud authorized Certifying Organization (CO).
Award Period: August 1 – July 31 annually
Recognition: Certificate, medal/coin, letter from the President
Announced: September each year
Eligibility Requirements
Project HEAL Participation
Minimum 12 hours OR 20% of required hours must be completed through Project HEAL.
External Organization Service
Prior approval required. Submit External Seva Request 14 days in advance. Monthly verification required.
