Trilochan Netralaya – Odisha
About Trilochan Netralaya
At Sankara Healthcare Foundation, Inc., we are committed to eradicating preventable blindness through strategic collaborations.
Established in 2008 under the Vision India Foundation, Trilochan Netralaya aims to provide subsidized and free comprehensive eye care to indigenous families in western Odisha and neighboring Chhattisgarh.
Located in a predominantly tribal and economically challenged region, the hospital addresses the eye care needs of communities reliant on monsoon agriculture, forest products, and casual labor.
Serving over 10 million people across 14 districts, Trilochan Netralaya stands as the largest community eye care provider in Odisha.
Based in Sambalpur, Trilochan Netralaya provides eye care services through city clinics in five districts and twelve Vision Centres.
More than half of the population in this region consists of adivasi, or indigenous, tribal communities.
